Take a Walk.
Take a Walk with the Sun.
The Walk with the Sun.
Photo with Silk.
With A Light
It's Not In Frame.
What do you see?
-I see a very blue sky as someone pulls an unseen person on a rolling throne, in a trash site.
How is the work organized?
-The work is organized with the subjects cutting off screen. With the girl pulling the metal container on wheels, we can see bottom right there are a pair of legs cut just out of view. But there is a problem with the lighting and glare going on.
What is the artist trying to communicate?
-I can see that the artist is trying to speak on slave work as it is a bright and sunny day, as a person is "forced" to pull a person superior to them.
What do you think of the art work?
-I think the artist tried to do something too ambitious. The lighting is all messed up, there is too much going on in the foreground and the background, and the message isn't portrayed well.

Leading Lines
Horizontal LinesFor horizontal lines, it was pretty easy to find. I knew stairs were a great example of what horizontal lines were and all I needed to do was have my model lined up with the stairs.
Diagonal LinesWith diagonal lines, it was a bit harder to find somewhere with diagonal edges. I found being under roofs and using shadows to lead it to the subject. For the photo in the wall ball court, it was a candid photo I did and I caught the ball over the girl at the PERFECT time.

Vertical LinesWith this shot, I wanted to make the ladder be a climb to a great beyond. With the top of the ladder just offscreen, it help with the affect of it going on longer than what you can see. The leading lines lead to the top of the screen.
Converging LinesNow for the converging lines, it was really easy to find somewhere to find the lines that lead to the middle. The bongolos! For the lower shot, I went for a more Y2K style of photos.

Dear Future.
This piece was inspired by The Last of Us. I wanted to show a more overgrown future than most are depicted. So, I wanted to show the grass overtaking the chair, showcasing an absence of people.
I used the blue chair to contrast the more nature colors of the background and foreground. I also kept the chair below the coast line of the grass to cacti. I kept the lighting to a low, I didn't highlight the chair in no way. I wanted to have the viewer find what's left of humanity. |
Personal Works I Want in Dear Future.
Crossing Love. Forest in the Moonlight. Light on the Line.
Comfy Couch. Casino Queens. Parking.
DUE TO HOW THE WEBSITE IS FORMATTED, I COULD ONLY PUT CROPPED VERSIONS OF THE IMAGES.
Composition
Pictures with 3 Different Lenses.
Taken with 50mm Lense
1/1000 f8 iso1600 10:57 AM, In School, No external lighting equipment. The storm hits the school kids hard today. After being told by their physical education teacher to go to the library, some got the message later than others. All the kids make a dash to where it is driest to get away from the rain. On the way there, a boy's umbrella breaks. He is left with only the shade of the library to get out of the rain. |

1/4000 f8.0 iso800 11:29, In School, No external lighting equipment. The innocence of children. No worries in the world, they are able to relax and have a good time playing volley ball. As the ball is hit up into the air, the opposing team gets ready to pass it back. Get your popcorn ready, this'll be a good game. |
Mopa - Exploration
Print Making
In this piece, me and my friends went to the beach for a better background. My model posed with her drink. When we started the print making process, the photo became darker to where it distorted her face, and most of her body. For the spots in the top right, I used bubble wrap dipped in paint and held it down on the print, and repeated it with the bottom left corner.
Abstract
For these abstract pieces, I wanted to use low shutter speed with bright colors to make them pop and seem like they're moving quickly. For the piece on the left, I wanted to use shapes to my advantage with a lower angle shot looking up to the roof and wall forming squares and triangles.
CCTE Photo Competition
In these pieces, I used shadows to my advantage. With 1116 and 1110, I showed the mental ideology of being split. Being in the light while still being dark. With 1254, using a low angle shot of someone picking up a package like if it were a short film. The line of the building and the package are used to lead lines to the subject. Now with the 6228, I had the shot feel like back in the western times for a cowboy photoshoot. I edited greens to be more brown to fit in with the feel of the old times.
Theme Development
For this piece, I showed the aching hole it leaves when you feel alone. With the multiple benches, usually filled with people, only one person sits down. With the person being alone, and not in the center frame, it helps shows how overlooked the model is and how lonely he truly is. Holding a bouquet of flowers, commonly used as a gift to others, he has no one to give it to but himself.
Balance and Hierarchy
An Orange Miles Away - While taking this photo, I had to get real low to the ground meaning I could not look through the view finder while taking the photo. With the orange and warm colored field behind, it helps bring the piece all together.

What's up there? - Using shapes and colors to direct the viewers eyes where I want them to go, I had my model point at an out of place color on a roof. And with the leading lines and the very colorful lion, it brings the viewers eyes back to the model.

Losing Focus - I used the camera's lens to make my model out of focus on purpose to tell a more broad story. Flowers like roses are used for a symbol of love, and with the subject being out of focus shows that he is losing focus of what or who he may love.
